iciHaiti – Education : Haitian-Mexican Cooperation
The new Ambassador of Mexico in Haiti, Jesús Valdés Peña accompanied by the Deputy Chief of the Mexican Cooperation Mission in Port-au-Prince, Enrique Palos-Sato, visited the Minister of National Education Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet who was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Jackson Pléteau.
It was a courtesy meeting during which Minister Cadet and Ambassador Peña discussed Haitian-Mexican cooperation in the education sector.
Historical cooperation in various fields where education has always had a prominent place. Recall that Mexico has already granted dozens of scholarships to young Haitians whose most important agreement had been the granting by Mexico of a total of 300 scholarships, following a recruitment by competitive examination between graduates of classical studies.
Minister Cadet and Ambassador Peña pledged to strengthen cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of Haitian youth.
