iciHaiti – Diplomacy : The Consul General of Haiti in Guadeloupe has taken office
The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe informs the public in general and the Haitian community in particular that Carl Edouard Saint Remy, Head of Post with jurisdiction over Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Martin (part French) and Dominica since January 2019, appointed to fulfill the function of Consul General in October 2020, has taken up his functions as Consul General on Monday, February 1, 2021.

Carl Edouard Saint Remy began his career at the Consulate General of Haiti in Santiago in the Dominican Republic where he served as Vice-Consul from 2012 to 2014. He was then promoted to Consul within the same Consulate, function which he worked from 2014 to 2019. Head of Post in Guadeloupe since January 2019.
