False substitute Government Commissioner arrested


Marcelin St-Fort was arrested in Cap-Haitien for fraud, use of forgery, usurpation of title and criminal association. He had in his possession a false card identifying him as a substitute for the Government Commissioner. This individual who has never worked for the Ministry is in fact an offender whom the Police had already suspected of participating in several criminal acts in 2018.

2 thugs killed by the BRI


This Tuesday, April 13, 2021, around 7.15 p.m., two armed bandits from the Village de Dieu (Ernst Richardson and Ricardo Desravines) who had just stolen a motorcycle in the Rue Capois were killed by a patrol of the Research and Intervention Brigarde (BRI) during an exchange of fire. The judicial authorities were dispatched to the scene for the legal consequences.

Petit-Goâve : Justice paralyzed by angry young people


On Wednesday April 14, 2021, angry young people closed the Court of First Instance and the Parquet of Petit-Goâve to force the local judicial authorities to arrest Jerry Archange Leconte, an agent of the former Municipal Police of Petit Goave who had slapped a lawyer at the Petit-Goâve Bar, Me Bensonn Bénêche.
