Haiti – FLASH: Earthquake 4 km off Gonâve Island
On Tuesday, the Alliance for Risk Management and Business Continuity (AGERCA) informed us that Monday February 9, 2021 at 6:12:10 am that an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale has occurred off the Gonâve Island at 19,000 degrees North latitude, 73,250 degrees West longitude, at a depth of 8 km.
The epicenter was located at sea 4 km northwest of Gonâve Island (West), 109 km northwest of Port-au-Prince (West), 58 km southwest of Saint- Marc (Artibonite).
This earthquake was weakly felt. No damage was reported by the municipal Civil Protection committees.
